Raymond de Zwart opened Black Finch in 2007 on completion of Gold and Silversmithing studies at RMIT University. Raymond designs and crafts both collection and custom made pieces including wedding, engagement and commitment rings, earrings, necklaces, other jewellery and small art objects. He creates bespoke pieces in consultation with you. Raymond works with a wide range of precious metals — 9ct and 18ct gold, platinum and silver — and sources appropriate stones to fit your piece. Working regularly with Australian sapphires and diamonds as well as antique diamonds. Crafted with a sensitivity to detail, quality of material and sincerity to personal stories, Raymond’s pieces transcend the everyday to become future heirlooms.
